Introduction
The Old Fort is the only fully restored historic plantation house in St. Vincent and The Grenadines, dating back to when the first French settlers came to the Caribbean in the 18th century. We offer a fully catered unique holiday experience, and meet the needs of a variety of visitors from two persons upwards to large groups up to 16 persons. The main plantation house forms the heart of a undisturbed estate set in acres upon acres of lush tropical gardens. Being extremely private, yet only minutes from the busier side of Bequia, we are proud to be able to offer hard-to-find classic ambiance in a beautiful natural setting.
Spacious rooms are special inside as well as out and have impressive 180 degree ocean views southward overlooking all the Grenadine islands, including spoilt Mustique and distant Grenada. The grand pool, with an infinity edge and waterfall, running into a separate smaller pool below, is by far the most spectacular around. The entire property, which we believe was formerly used as a lookout, is ideal for events such as weddings, family reunions, honeymoons and much much more. Seeing really is believing and our pictures, as good as they may be, do not justify the real feel and look of this amazing property!
